Microsoft recently announced AI-powered experiences designed for teaching and learning at no additional cost with Microsoft 365, Copilot Chat availability in Microsoft 365 apps, and a new academic offering for Microsoft 365 Copilot. - AI-powered teaching and learning: Teach, offering easy access for educators to AI-powered tools to enhance instruction, and Study and Learn, an advanced agent to help personalize learning, are coming to the Microsoft 365 Copilot at no additional cost. - Integrated into everyday apps: Copilot Chatis now available in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote to create a unified chat experience across apps. The moment you need it, you can pull up Copilot Chat in a side pane of your file, and it will be ready to help right where you’re working—which means less copy and pasting, file uploading, and switching apps. - Increasing access to Copilot:We’re excited to introduce an academic offering for Microsoft 365 Copilot in education at $18 (USD) per user per month for educators, staff, and students ages 13 and older. All education customers can purchase new seats of the academic offering once available on December 1st, 2025. If you’ve already purchased M365 Copilot licenses for this term on your contract, the updated pricing will apply when you renew.
