MEEC has established numerous hardware agreements with various vendors to allow for the purchase or lease of desktops, laptops, servers and peripherals. In addition to institutional purchases and leasing opportunities, discounted personal purchase options are also available to K-16 faculty, staff, and students in Maryland.
The agreement is multi-award, embracing many different manufacturers and resellers. The contracts were awarded through a competitive proposal process, following the USM procurement policies and procedures. The USM Board of Regents has granted approval.
Contracts call for a baseline (i.e. minimum) discount which varies by vendors. You are encouraged to contact the suppliers directly to obtain greater discounts, especially for large quantities. Contact individual vendors for actual MEEC pricing.
